Position: Boot Fitter/Sales Associate
We are hiring Sales Associates and Boot Fitters! We are looking for people who excel at engaging and educating customers about our specialty ski and mountain shop and products. We provide product education and apply our personal experience to provide industry-leading customer service. Preference will be given to people with two or more years of boot fitting/ retail experience. A strong work ethic and a passion for the mountains readily equates to success in our fast-paced, positive energy environment.
We are hiring full- and part-time seasonal positions. Opportunities for year-round employment are available as well.

Pro Ski is a fast paced, inclusive, high energy, authentic specialty retail store located in the foothills of the Cascade mountains. Our emphasis is on backcountry ski touring, but we are a full service ski /snowboard shop and outdoor retailer. We are the Northwest’s original Dynafit Competency Center, the PNW's ATK Service Center, a Scarpa Boot Service Center are sponsored by Black Diamond and Outdoor Research. We have also authored 3 backcountry ski/splitboard guide and skills books.

Requirements
- Retail boot fitting experience
- Enthusiasm for winter sports and gear
- Excellent customer service
- Experience working in the ski industry is a plus
- Available to work weekends
Responsibilities
- Providing expert advice on ski equipment and give recommendations for selection of appropriate skis, boots, bindings, etc. for the customer’s riding style and skill level
- Organizing and checking out rental equipment for customers
- Assisting in general duties such as cleaning, merchandising, receiving inventory, and working the front and service counters
- Becoming an expert in all the categories we participate in with on-the-job training
- Taking advantage of opportunities to learn custom boot fitting and invest in developing this skill set; participate in training sessions and clinics
- Address customers’ needs during one-to-one appointments
- Learn to excel in a fast paced environment
